PickMyInjuryLawyer.com (the "Site") is operated by PickMyInjuryLawyer ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

PickMyInjuryLawyer.com is not a law firm and is not a lawyer referral service. We operate a marketing and lead generation service that connects consumers with independent attorneys, law firms, and other marketing partners who pay to participate. By using this Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site or submit information through it.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us directly. When you complete a form on the Site, we collect the information you submit, which may include:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Telephone number
• ZIP code, and the city and state derived from it
• Details about your incident, including accident type, injury status, medical treatment status, insurance status, fault, timing, and any description you provide
• Whether you are currently represented by an attorney

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• IP address and approximate geographic location derived from it
• Browser type, device type, operating system, and screen size
• Pages viewed, time on page, referring URL, and exit pages
• Date and time of your visit
• Unique device and session identifiers
• Advertising click identifiers, including those passed by Meta, Google, TikTok, and similar platforms
• Interaction data captured by form-certification providers, including ActiveProspect TrustedForm and Jornaya LeadiD, which create a record of your form session and consent

Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from advertising networks, data providers, marketing partners, and publishers who direct traffic to the Site, as well as from partners who verify or enhance the information you submit.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Connect you with attorneys, law firms, and marketing partners who may be able to assist with your potential claim
• Contact you by phone, text message, and email regarding your inquiry
• Verify the accuracy and validity of the information you submit
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
• Measure and optimize our advertising, including attributing conversions to the campaigns that generated them
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
• Maintain records of consent as required by applicable law

4. How We Share Your Information

With marketing partners. This is the core function of the Site. When you submit a form, we share the information you provided, along with your TrustedForm and Jornaya certificates, with one or more of our marketing partners so they may contact you about your potential claim. A current list of our marketing partners is available on our Marketing Partners page. That list may change over time.

Our marketing partners are independent third parties. Once your information is shared with them, their use of it is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. We do not control and are not responsible for how they handle your information.

With service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, including hosting, database, analytics, call routing, lead delivery, consent certification, and fraud prevention providers. These vendors are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms and Conditions; to protect the rights, property, or safety of PickMyInjuryLawyer, our users, or others; or to investigate suspected fraud.

In a business transfer. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Sale and sharing of personal information. Under certain state privacy laws, our sharing of your information with marketing partners in exchange for compensation may be considered a "sale" or a "sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising." You have the right to opt out. See Section 8 and our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

5. Communications and Your Consent

When you submit a form on the Site and check the consent box, you provide your prior express written consent for us and our marketing partners to contact you at the telephone number and email address you provided. This may include calls and text messages placed using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice, even if the number you provided is registered on a federal or state Do Not Call list.

Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

You may revoke consent at any time. You may do so by:

• Clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or visiting our Unsubscribe page

• Telling any caller to place you on their internal do not call list

Revoking consent with us does not automatically revoke consent you may have given directly to a marketing partner. You may need to contact that partner separately.

We retain a record of the consent you provided, including the exact consent language displayed to you, the date and time, and the associated certification records.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your session, measure advertising performance, and understand how visitors use the Site.

The categories we use include:

• Strictly necessary: required for the Site to function, including session continuity while you complete a form
• Analytics: help us understand traffic and usage, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
• Advertising: allow us and our advertising partners to measure campaign performance and deliver relevant advertising, including the Meta Pixel and similar tools

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where required by law.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no industry standard for how to respond to these signals, and we do not respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described above.

8. Your Privacy Rights

How to exercise your rights. Submit a request through our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, email privacy@pickmyinjurylawyer.com, or call 1-833-418-3637. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, typically by matching the information you provide against our records. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally 45 days, with the possibility of an extension where permitted.

Important limitation. Exercising your rights with us does not affect information already transferred to a marketing partner before your request. To exercise rights against a marketing partner, contact that partner directly.

9. Categories of Personal Information Collected and Disclosed

In the twelve months preceding the effective date of this policy, we collect and disclose for a business or commercial purpose the following categories of personal information:

• Identifiers: name, email address, telephone number, IP address, unique online identifiers
• Customer records information: name, telephone number, email address
• Commercial information: records of inquiries submitted
• Internet or network activity: browsing and interaction data on the Site
• Geolocation data: approximate location derived from ZIP code and IP address
• Inferences: limited inferences regarding the nature of your inquiry

We disclose these categories to marketing partners, service providers, advertising partners, and analytics providers as described in Section 4. We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, including recordkeeping requirements for consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirement.

11. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You submit information at your own risk.

12. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@pickmyinjurylawyer.com and we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their privacy policies before providing information.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
